What’s your prayer this Christmas?
Christmas

Do you pray?  A Tearfund survey showed that 51% of UK adults pray, and 20% pray regularly.  Women are more likely to pray than men and most people pray about friends and family, the sick and to give thanks.  Even those that have no religious affiliation pray most often in times of personal crisis or tragedy, to gain comfort, or as a last resort.  56% of those that pray believe it can change the world!

When we look around there is so much to pray about, it can all be a little overwhelming.  At this moment in time (December 2024), there is government collapse in France, upheaval in South Korea, the downfall of Assad in Syria, parliamentary turmoil in Romania and the ongoing war in Ukraine, to name a few.  How does God cope with all these issues?  He gets His people praying.

God uses ordinary people like you and me to pray God’s heart for each person, situation and place.  The praying army of God is so pivotal in these times to see His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven!  It can be praying for you relative who needs healing, for your neighbourhood to see revival or for a nations heart to be turned back to God.  No matter how big or small your prayer… it makes a difference.

So, we wondered here at World Prayer Centre, what is your prayer this Christmas?  We would love to know, then we will pray for your prayers at our last online revival prayer hour of the year on Wednesday 18th December from 9.30-10.30am.

Post your prayers on our social media channels or using the form by clicking the button below and join us for the Revival prayer hour on 18th December.
