CONNECTING WITH GODThrough Prayer

Christians in the Early Church made prayer and worship a priority, meeting in homes, in the temple courts, by rivers and wherever they gathered. Today in our nation we too have the same freedoms to gather to pray with others – face to face in homes, workplaces, in our communities and in our church fellowships as well as through social media, email or Skype.

At World Prayer Centre, we run a number of initiatives and prayer watches and we’d love you to be involved.

PRAYER INITIATIVES

PRAYER WATCHES

We pray every Wednesday from 9.30 – 10.30 am for revival in our nation, and one Saturday a month for global issues, and one Monday evening for Birmingham.

There are many great prayer resources to help you to pray for many issues, peoples and the world.

We are part of a relational network of leaders with a heart for prayer in England.

HOPE COUNTRYSIDE

We are part of the Hope Countryside team. They meet together and release resources and prayer info to pray for rural Britain.

CONNECTING THE ISLES

Connecting in unity with the British Isles in prayer. We are involved in connecting with leaders and house of prayer.

Facilitating continuous day and night prayer for Birmingham with Christian churches, groups and individuals praying regularly.

Prophetic Words

What is prophecy?

Prophecy is a supernatural enabling by the Spirit of God to hear His voice and then deliver the message of what that voice is saying.

Prophetic Words for our nation

Here are some prophetic words given in, and for, our nation which we, along with many other Christian believers, carry the authenticity of God’s voice.

Malcolm Duncan [2016]

[God] is asking us to raise our faith and expectation, to raise our commitment to prayer, to raise our eyes off what we are seeing around us, to take our eyes off the feeling and the falling and the decaying and to lift our eyes to Him; and I think that that move of God is going to have six significant elements to it...

Jean Darnell [1967]

The British Isles were covered in mist (a green haze), and Jean Darnall saw lots of pinpoints of light piercing through. As she looked, they turned out to be fires breaking out all over the nation, from Scotland in the North, to Lands End in the South.

Smith Wigglesworth [1947/1967]

Many have recognised the importance of these words and have prayed for them to be fulfilled. We believe these are words for our time.
