Searching for meaning

searching for meaning

Do you feel that there is something missing from your life?  Or maybe that there must be more to life?  These are questions that I was asking myself in my twenties and thirties as someone who didn’t know God, but I was searching for something significant to give meaning to my life.

At World Prayer Centre, we have been praying for a spiritual awakening every Wednesday morning for the past seven months.  We have seen a huge increase in people visiting our website and engaging on our social media and prayer watches.  People are hungry to pray and many are searching.  It is a real answer to our prayers!

We are hearing reports of green shots of revival, as churches are beginning to fill up and many are getting baptised.  Young people are turning up to pray and want to know more about Jesus.  They are searching for truth in a confusing, chaotic and unpredictable world.  Where they have faced hopelessness, they are finding hope in Jesus.

Many are searching for meaning in relationships, careers, and other things.  In exploring spirituality, many are realising that following Jesus is a relationship and not a religion.

Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.”  We have been praying for a long time for hearts to be open and changed.  We hope that you can join us in continuing to pray for the lost to find their purpose in Jesus and find significance in the Word of God.

If you are searching for meaning… give Jesus a chance.  You can visit our I want to know Jesus page.  Let us know if you pray the prayer and we can celebrate with you!

Join us on Wednesday morning from 9.30 – 10.30am for our Revival prayer hour.
