A call to Christians in the older generations, across Scotland, Ireland, Wales and England.
In a society that is in the process of voting for assisted suicide, the older generation and those that have disabilities could be feeling concerned about the prospect of getting sick if the bill is passed.
We had a powerful revival prayer hour this Wednesday, as we had sensed the need to pray for the grandparents, the older generations who may feel that God can no longer use them because they are too old. God had reminded us of the prophecy received in 2022 at Blessing the Commonwealth event, where God was saying to the over 60’s that God is going to ‘use them in ways we have never dreamed or imagined possible’. We feel that Father is wanting to restore harmony to the Body of Christ. He needs every part to fulfil its function.
Something was birthed in the spiritual realm last Wednesday during the revival prayer hour. They are becoming very significant in praying for an awakening, and we have a consistent 60-70 people committed to pray every Wednesday. Revival broke out in some of the prayer breakout rooms! The prophecy had spoken that ‘Moses was 80, Sarah was 99 and Abraham was 75 when their ministry began. Someone had shared about Caleb, who was 85 years old when he crossed into the Promised Land and he was still a strong warrior! In a generation known as the ‘silent generation’ (born 1928 – 1945), we felt the need to pray and break off things in the spirit and release a Caleb anointing into that generation and the ‘Baby boomer’ generation (born 1946 – 1964). We prayed for a youth anointing and strong warriors in the spirit. We broke the label of the ‘silent generation’ and declared they will be loud and heard by other generations. In a season where the enemy is trying to take out the older generation with assisted suicide, we declare life into them! May the dry bones come together and come to life! We call forth the Calebs in our nation! God is not finished with you yet.
The prophecy also goes on to say, “This is the day to step into the fullness of the call of God on your life! Do not shrink back! The next generation needs you…everybody needs you… we need your wisdom, we need your prayers, we need your counsel. It’s
time to wake up! What the enemy has tried to suck out of your bones – it’s time to take that new marrow from the Kingdom of God and to establish again everything that you were created to be. Dream again, write! sing! If you’ve got any gift at all, give it to the Lord today!”
As we see the ‘quiet revival’ happening amongst Generation Z (born 1997 – 2012), this needs to be watched, prayed for and guarded by the over 60’s to whom God has given a breaker anointing.
We prayed for the 40 – 60-year-olds, for a bulldozer anointing to go and take back what the enemy has stolen. We need to teach the young generations how to go deeper in the Lord and how to stand strong. The enemy will try and prevent what God is doing in the under 20’s. Let us guard them in the spirit, let us be the spiritual parents and grandparents to see them fulfil all God is doing through them.
Wanda prophesied, “I’m speaking this into The UK – I feel there’s something in The UK, that when you get it right it’s going to affect the world – it’s going to have huge, powerful outpouring of the Spirit of God… I believe that Britain / UK – You have been chosen by God to bring the family together… to unite the kingdoms and to make us one. I believe there’s a gift upon you…. You went out and conquered the world many, many years ago – I believe that God has the final say now …… Go conquer the world for Jesus!”
