Pray for politics in the UK

Pray for politics in the UK

The local and mayoral elections take place in England on Thursday 1st May. Our friends at CARE host a ‘pray for politics’ Zoom meeting for those that want to pray for government.

The Bible is clear that prayer needs to be at heart of every Christian endeavour, we’d love for you to join Celia Bowring (CARE’s prayer champion and prayer diary author) and others on the CARE team as we intercede for His continued mercy and grace upon our nation.

‘Pray for Politics’ – a 45-minute Zoom meeting will take place every two months. We’ll focus on political issues of concern, remember our leaders and intercede for God’s wisdom, courage and strength for His people and those who are involved in the political life of our nation. There will be opportunities to pray in small groups, silently or out loud.

The next online prayer meeting is Wednesday 14th May from 12 – 12.45pm. To sign up for all the upcoming online prayer meetings, please click here. You’ll automatically receive the zoom link prior to each meeting, making joining more simple. We realise you may not be at every meeting but hope to see you as often as you can.
