You’ve given your life to Jesus. What now? World Prayer Centre are launching a new online discipleship course for those who are new to the Christian faith or want to do deeper in the foundations of their faith.
For the past six months, we have been watching with excitement as we see how God is moving in our nation as people are coming to know Jesus! This has been an answer to prayer for World Prayer Centre as we have been praying consistently for many years for revival and spiritual awakening in the British Isles.
It has been great to see many come to faith over the recent Easter season and huge numbers of people baptised as they follow Christ. This is all fantastic but unless they are discipled, new believers are open to being pulled back into the world. The enemy is real and he is not happy when someone makes a decision to follow Christ. The warfare can be intense, so it is a necessity that we teach new converts and anyone that has never been discipled how to stand the test of time. When we are rooted and our roots grow deep into Jesus, our faith is made stronger.
World Prayer Centre is partnering with Academy for Life to facilitate a free eight week discipleship course to build your faith. Our heart is to make young disciples into mighty oaks. The course starts on Thursday 7th May on Zoom from 7.30 – 8.30pm. It will be once a week for 8 weeks. The course will be taught by Pastor Sheila Hendley from The Net church, Perry Common and a very gifted teacher.
