Holy Week (13 – 20 April) is the most important time in the Christian calendar. It is a profound time to reflect on the passion, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Day 1: Palm Sunday
Theme: Welcoming Jesus
Prayer: Lord, as we wave palms and shout ‘Hosanna,’ help us to welcome You into our lives with open hearts. May we recognize Your presence in our daily walk. Amen.
Day 2: Holy Monday
Theme: Cleansing and Renewal
Prayer: Heavenly Father, cleanse our hearts of all that is not pleasing to You. Renew us from within, so we may become temples of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.
Day 3: Holy Tuesday
Theme: Faith and Understanding
Prayer: Lord Jesus, increase our faith and understanding of Your Word. Help us to trust in Your wisdom and guidance each day. Amen.
Day 4: Holy Wednesday
Theme: Betrayal and Forgiveness
Prayer: Merciful God, as we reflect on Judas’ betrayal, teach us the power of forgiveness. Grant us the grace to forgive those who have wronged us. Amen.
Day 5: Maundy Thursday
Theme: Service and Love
Prayer: Lord Jesus, as You washed the feet of Your disciples, teach us to serve others with humility and love. May our actions reflect Your love to the world. Amen.
Day 6: Good Friday
Theme: Sacrifice and Redemption
Prayer: Gracious Savior, on this solemn day, we remember Your ultimate sacrifice. Thank You for redeeming us with Your precious blood. Amen.
Day 7: Holy Saturday
Theme: Hope and Anticipation
Prayer: God of Hope, as we await the joy of Easter morning, fill our hearts with anticipation and trust in Your promises. Amen.
Day 8: Resurrection Sunday
Theme: Resurrection and New life
Prayer: Lord Jesus, we thank You that You died and rose again so that we can live forever in Your Kingdom. Amen.
