A personal note from Ian and Pauline

2027 will be a very special year for us.

No, it’s not our age! And it’s not quite how long we have been married — that will be 60 years in 2027.

It will also mark 30 years of serving together in the vision and ministry of World Prayer Centre.

As we look back, our hearts are filled with gratitude. We give thanks to Father, Son and Holy Spirit for His faithfulness, and we are deeply thankful for every person who has worked with us, prayed with us, encouraged us and financially supported the ministry over the years.

The journey began in June 1992, when God gave us a vision for a Global Prayer Centre — a place and a ministry that would help mobilise prayer for our communities, our nation and the nations of the world.

We continue to hold that vision in faith.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of gathering thousands of Christians through Trumpet Call events, Swanwick conferences, national and local prayer gatherings and many other initiatives.

Today, the World Prayer Centre team continues week by week to:

• Pray for revival and spiritual awakening.
• Encourage and equip Christians to pray.
• Help people understand how and what to pray for.
• Pray for our communities, the UK and the nations.
• Connect and pray with believers internationally.
• Pray towards the fulfilment of the Great Commission.

And we believe this ministry is needed as much today as it has ever been.

A Time to Pray

We are living through challenging and uncertain times, both in our nation and across the world.

In the midst of this, we believe the call of the Church to prayer is urgent: to seek God for His mercy, His presence and His transforming power in our lives, our communities and our nations.

We therefore remain committed to the calling God has given World Prayer Centre.

But to continue — and to prepare for the next season — we need your help.

Our £30,000 Appeal

Give today and help strengthen prayer for the next generation.

World Prayer Centre’s annual running costs are approximately £90,000.

These funds enable us to continue the day-to-day ministry: gathering people to pray, encouraging and equipping prayer, producing resources and information through our website and social media, praying for revival and the nations, and connecting with the wider international prayer movement.

Ian and Pauline have always raised their own personal income so that the gifts given to World Prayer Centre can be directed towards the vision and ministry.

At present, World Prayer Centre urgently needs to raise £30,000.

We have already been greatly encouraged by several gifts of £1,000 following a recent Revival Prayer Hour.

We thank God for every one of them.

Now, following the biblical encouragement to ask, seek and knock, we are widening the invitation.

As we approach this 30-year milestone, we are looking forward, asking God to open new doors, bring new people alongside us and enable World Prayer Centre to fulfil everything He has called it to do.
