Are you willing to stand in the gap for your nation? Before God does something exceptional, He calls His people to pray. When we persist in prayer and stand in faith, in God’s timing we will see the breakthrough as the tipping point is reached.
Over the last few weeks on our revival prayer hour, we prayed for the tipping point of revival. A tipping point is the point at which a series of small changes or incidents becomes significant enough to cause a larger, more important change. A few weeks ago, the Lord gave me the word ‘fulcrum’. The fulcrum is our prayers. It is the point where persistent, faithful prayer results in God’s direct intervention or answer. This is the tipping point between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Darkness.
We rejoice, as we have been praying for revival in the British Isles every Wednesday morning. Our revival prayer hour was birthed last August because of the riots in the UK. Since then, we have gathered on Zoom with prayer warriors across the UK and the world who have a passion to see our nation changed and people’s hearts to come to the Lord. It is amazing to see how the Lord is answering our prayers!
Revival is part of our DNA at the World Prayer Centre. We have been praying for the nation and the nations for over 30 years. We have prayed for God’s Kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven. We have prayed for people, governments, nations, world events, disasters, you name it, we’ve prayed for it!
On New Years Day 2025, we declared “Revive 2025!”
We have since seen the quiet revival rising in our nation with Gen Z filling churches and finding Jesus. Another answer to prayer!
We have seen celebrities, sports people and influencers coming to faith and openly sharing their faith to millions on social media. Another answer to prayer!
We have seen unprecedented prayer like never before and Christians going to the streets and sharing their faith. Another answer to prayer!
For those that are searching for truth in their minds, there is a tipping point at which they find and receive Jesus into their hearts. We are seeing this with the younger generations. In a society of confusion with no boundaries, as they search for truth and seeds of the gospel are planted and watered, there is a realisation that God and the bible has the answers they have been searching for. The enemy has been trying to eradicate God and the work of cross through Jesus’ death and resurrection, for over 50 years in our society. We thank God that the veil of deception is falling, and people’s eyes are being opened to the reality that without God we are nothing but lost children, left to our own devices and sin.
We continue to pray for spiritual eyes to be opened and more revelation of God’s truth and love. Here’s four things to pray for:
Persistence – Let us persist in praying for revival and reformation in our nations. We want to see heaven on earth, and we are God’s conduit to pray for His Kingdom to come. Galatians 6:9 tells us, ‘And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.’ We continue to pray without ceasing for our nation to turn back to God.
Faith – For years we have prayed for revival without seeing any change but thank God that we walk by faith and not by sight! 2 Corinthians 5:7 We continue to stand on His word that nothing is impossible for God. Luke 1:3. As we begin to see the answers to our prayers, let our faith be activated and expanded to believe for miracles, signs and wonders in this season. We pray for our faith to be encouraged by the green shoots we are seeing.
God’s Timing – For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1. God’s timing is perfect. He orchestrates everything to work together for good. Pray for all things to come into God’s alignment and in God’s timing for a mighty harvest to be reaped!
Breakthrough – For many years there has been prophetic words about a wave of revival like a ‘mega-tsunami’ that will bring an unprecedented spiritual awakening not only here but around the world. There is a picture that we used to have in the WPC prayer room of a huge wave that breaks. There is a tipping point when the wave builds but ‘suddenly’ the tipping point is reached, and the wave breaks forth and the breakthrough is released. Pray that the Church will be ready. When a wave breaks it is powerful but turbulent. If you’re not ready for it, you will get tossed about in it and you can get broken, but if you are prepared, you know how to handle it and then you know how to ride the wave and stay above it.
Are you ready to ride the wave that God is sending? If your heart is to see revival in our land, we invite you to join us on Wednesday mornings from 9.30 – 10.30am for our revival prayer hour on Zoom. The wave is rising! The momentum is building. We declare that we will see revival in our land!
