Christian concern have recently highlighted proposed amendments that can change abortion laws.
Pro-abortion activists Stella Creasy and Diana Johnson have proposed two new amendments to the Criminal Justice Bill that would have the effect of decriminalising abortion right up to birth.
The Christian Legal Centre has submitted evidence to the committee that is considering the amendments. After committee stage, the bill will go back to MPs for another vote. Tim Dieppe explains the amendments and why we must resist them. Please write to your MP, telling him or her about the amendments and why they must be firmly rejected. They recklessly disregard both the life of the baby and the mother, allowing viable babies to be killed for no reason with medication that is dangerous for mothers.
