Something profound is stirring across our nations. The World Prayer Centre is calling on the global Body of Christ to fuel a historic move of God. The Shine Your Light (SYL) 2026 campaign has officially launched from Westminster, setting a vision to mobilize 500,000 Christians in radical, unified witness.
As the campaign builds momentum toward the main focus weekend on 11–13 December 2026, our mandate is clear: cover this mission in unceasing prayer. This year, the focus moves beyond our church walls to bring the hope of Christ directly to estates, care homes, prisons, hospitals, and the homeless. We are praying to see the light of Jesus break through in the most forgotten, unheard, and unnoticed places.
Core Prayer Focus Areas
- A Spirit of Broad Unity: Pray for churches across all denominations and four nations to stand together as a visible sign of God’s love.
- Boldness for Everyday Witnesses: Intercede for the 500,000 believers taking the Gospel to public spaces, streets, and town centres.
- Reaching the Broken: Pray specifically that those who feel completely forgotten or isolated will experience a tangible touch from the King.
- The Next Generation: Ask God to ignite the hearts of young people, building on the explosive momentum seen at the Wembley youth launch.
- 72 Hours of Unbroken Prayer: Lift up the Digital Prayer Chapel as it hosts continuous prayer warfare to pave the way for salvations.
The Launch Campaign Prayer
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the launch of Shine Your Light 2026. We declare that Your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is rising upon our communities. Lord, we ask that You draw the world to Christ not through human arguments or division, but through a supernatural demonstration of Your perfect love.
Forgive us for when we have stayed comfortable inside our buildings. We ask for the courage to step onto our streets, into our marketplaces, and toward the margins of society. Pour out Your Holy Spirit to activate half a million believers across this land. Give us eyes to see the hungry, the lonely, and the broken just as You see them.
We pull down strongholds of fear, doubt, and apathy in Jesus’ name. Let every carol sung, every hot drink served, and every conversation shared this year be charged with Your power. Open blind eyes, heal wounded hearts, and let a harvest of salvations erupt in every town and city.
For Yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever.
