My wife, Pauline, and I enjoy singing and listening to the hymns we used to sing in our church a long time ago. To our amazement, we can often remember all the words as well as the tune. We realise some were a bit iffy but many had great theological truths.
Here is the chorus of one of them.
“His love has no limit, His grace has no measure, His power no boundaries known unto man. But out of His infinite riches in Jesus, He giveth and giveth and giveth again”. What a glorious, amazing truth!
As we gave thanks for Father’s generosity, it got us reflecting on our giving. We began to ask ourselves, as we approach another Christmas and the uncertainties of the New Year, should we consider a ‘prophetic Christmas gift’ to the ministry of World Prayer Centre?
As we pondered this, we gave thanks to God for all that He is doing in the life and ministry of WPC. At a local, national and international level, God has given us and continues to give us many opportunities to pray, lead and encourage prayer and have the privilege with millions of others in playing our part in the largest Christian prayer army in the history of the church.
What does 2025 have in store for us and for this great prayer army? Of course we do not know. However, we do know that until Jesus comes back, we must give of ourselves, our time, talents, our resources towards seeing a great spiritual awakening and the fulfilment of the Great Commission.
We are therefore inviting you to join us in supporting the ministry of WPC with a Prophetic Christmas Gift for 2025. The team and trustees have agreed that in personally making a gift, we are believing to see, as God leads, our developing ministry through 2025.
We are breaking down number 2025 because we felt the importance was not in the amount but simply and prophetically saying we believe God who gives and gives and gives again, will multiply what we sow into the year ahead.
So, a gift can be £20, 25, 225, 2025. Whatever you can give, will be gratefully received. We are inviting you to join us as we look in faith into 2025 with all its challenges and glorious opportunities. We are believing for an accelerating spiritual awakening, bringing an increased awareness of the Holy Presence of God into our lives and the life of the church in our nations.
