Surprised by God at Cambridge is a new book by Gordon Hickson. It is to record the legacy of an awakening that took place at Cambridge University in the 70’s through the lives of 70 of the people involved.
We’ve just published “Surprised by God at Cambridge”! Some of you will have heard of the awakening in Cambridge University in the early 70’s, in which many of today’s leaders were “surprised by God”. This indirectly led to the birthing of the Alpha movement globally, and so many other initiatives. After 50 years, this new book on Amazon seeks to record the legacy of that awakening through the lives of 70 of the people involved. We all hope this will add fire and inspiration to what is currently called the Quiet Revival in U.K. , and increase the sound and impact of what God is currently doing in our Nation! Come on God!
