At such a time as this, it is so important our media holds those in power to account: calls out injustice where it is seen and unseen: upholds truth and integrity.
The National Day of Prayer for the Media is a call to churches to set aside time in their meetings to pray for the media, especially for those in their congregation who work in, and with, media: to pray they would be salt and light in the media workplace: for a younger generation to consider media as a calling to serve our Lord, and help shape the media landscape for God’s glory.
Have you spoken with your church leaders? Have you encouraged them to set aside five minutes, ten minutes to pray? To help you as you pray check out some videos on the Christians in Media website.
