I AM a Jealous God

Understanding our Lord as a jealous God is not a concept often spoken of in these days. Not quite so cuddly and malleable as we might like. It is a bit uncomfortable. Uncompromising. But several times in scripture the Lord speaks of Himself as a Jealous God, “ for the Lord your God in your midst is a jealous God” (Deut 6: 14) and we are warned not to provoke the Lord to jealousy. (1 Cor 10 v 22).
Join us as we begin our year of prayer together and pursue an understanding of our God whose passion and zeal makes Him Jealous for His Name (afternoon) and Jealous for His Bride (evening).
