Dear Friends in Christ,
I want to invite you to a special evening of prayer on Wednesday March 4th, from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. This gathering, hosted by the Evangelical Baptists Core team, will bring together members of the Evangelical Baptist community, alongside our brothers and sisters from the Prayer Movements of the Nation, the Global Day of Prayer, The World Prayer Centre, Pray for Scotland and others.
We will be praying for two profound and urgent moves of God:
- First, we long for a wave of holiness to sweep through Baptist Churches. We pray that our hearts, lives, and communities would be set apart, aligned with God’s purposes, and reflect the holiness of Christ in all we do.
- Second, we are asking for God’s mercy and for Him to send a revival—a renewal of His Spirit in our churches. We pray for another Pentecost, where the fire of the Spirit empowers us afresh for His mission and transforms lives.
