It is such a blessing to see answers to our prayers that we have prayed at World Prayer Centre for many years. We were chatting as a team about how 20 years ago, pray was not on the agenda for many churches and organisations. Fast forward to today, and prayer is exploding in Christian circles but also in the secular news! Many are turning to prayer as they search for truth in a confused, dark society.
Many years ago, Ian Cole the founder of World Prayer Centre received a vision from God, for a World Prayer Centre in Birmingham and we believe that the Lord told us that this will come in a time of revival. As we see the hunger and openness for God increase, and more people searching for truth and meaning for life, many are finding Jesus. We are getting excited!
Last week, our online Revival prayer hour, the presence of God was so tangible. The bible tells us that “He inhabits the praises of His people,” Psalm 22:3. As we praise Him, He is with us, dwelling in us. A momentum is building as more come online each week.
We prayed for young people. Last Friday, students were gathering in 14 locations across our nation to pray for revival in our land, for God to “Do it again!”. We prayed for powerful encounters and was reminded of a prophetic word last year about revival coming through the students. We pray for a move of God in our universities, colleges and schools and for many young people to find truth in Jesus.
We hope you can continue to join us praying for God to “Do it again” in the younger generation. We will update you on student events as we hear more.
